The use of X-ray imaging for cardiac catheterization procedures is a standard of care in the United States and other developed countries, and costs associated with such procedures are usually reimbursed. Because the NovaRay system is a replacement system for current systems that have standard reimbursement, the company believes that we will not have to apply for new CPT or DRG codes.
